Gupta Dynasty, Chandragupta II (375-415 AD), Gold Dinar, Archer Type, Obv: king standing left, holding an indian long bow in his left hand and an arrow in his right, sword at his hip, garuda standing at left, brahmi legend under arm i.e. "chandra" and circular brahmi legend around, Rev: lakshmi seated facing on a stylized lotus in padmasana, holding lotus flower in one hand & diadem, brahmi legend at right, "sri vikramah" and royal tamgha at left, reverse side has full stylized circular border, 9.60g, 20.50mm, (BMC # PL VI -13), about extremely fine, Very Rare.

Probably goddess Lakshmi is looking towards back on the right hand side on this specimen as the eyes of the deity is visible on the face facing towards the right side. Variant of the listed plate.
